Contributions of appreciated securities or other property, held for at least one year, are deductible at their fair market value, with no capital gains tax on the appreciation. What you will need for your tax records
Each time you make a contribution of $250 or more to The Foundation for African Empowerment through Christian Ministry Alliance, you will receive a tax substantiation letter for your donation – that’s all you need! If you make a contribution of under $250, your canceled check or e-mail confirmation is sufficient. If you select a recurring donation, you will be sent a receipt every month when your donation is processed.
