Mark Hindle has dedicated his life in creating and generating opportunities for others in local & global communities.
Having lived across 4 continents, worked on 6, spanning a couple of decades, I have experienced multiple cultures from Asia & Africa to Europe & the Americas. After leaving the British Council overseas postings I started consulting, designing and delivering training to help organisations through their people so they can be better; more efficient and effective for the right reasons, which also adds value to the bottom line and I tacitly encourage them to use the new found surplus in positive corporate social responsibility areas.

I also support Charities and NGO’s with project concepts, grant finding and fund raising often project managing for monitoring purposes and evaluation for impact. Developing positive relationships and partnerships for all involved and founded People Empowered as a vehicle to Empower Others and my volunteering time with it is rewarding in so many ways and I encourage others to volunteer their time to make a positive difference to our communities, both local and global.

All our projects in East Africa are managed and/or implemented in partnership with The Foundation for African Empowerment, we heavily rely on the support of others and volunteers, like ourselves. We have known Samwel, their Founder, for nearly 8 years, we met in Arusha where I lived in Tanzania with my family; his knowledge and experience is an invaluable asset, we learn all the time through him and are grateful for his patience and support, we work very closely with them and then make it all happen.

In the UK (and quite a few other countries) I am an organisational consultant and trainer, helping to design a variety of intervention programmes and consult, coach, train & mentor where required. In the ‘not for profit’ world I focus on community based activities and find grants and opportunities for schools, faith based organisations and education delivery groups in skills, both practical and academic, to help children, youth and adults, focusing on the more vulnerable wherever possible, to make their lives more meaningful.

Life has taught me a few valuable lessons, maybe more than a few! One is certainly never stop learning and another is always help someone if you can and go that extra mile if it helps them better themselves to become more empowered in their lives.
