Delvina A. Minja has more than thirteen years  experience of working in the banking industry at the KCB Bank Tanzania Ltd and community based organizations around Arusha. In addition to being an effective and a successful banker on attracting big business volumes into the bank, she is also a passionate social entrepreneur.  Ms. Minja has attended several trainings within and outside Tanzania on marketing and public relations. Her competencies include customer service, leadership and management, marketing, strategic relationship building, finance, social entrepreneurship, business management, children and women empowerment and development.

In the realm of education, Ms. Minja is a holder of Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration-Marketing from the Open University of Tanzania, and a Diploma in Business Management from the  Cambridge International College. She is currently pursuing an MBA at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology. In addition to Swahili, she is proficient in English language.

Ms. Minja was born and raised at Marangu on the foothill of Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania. She generally loves cooking  but her special cooking  is banana muffins. She currently resides with husband and children in Arusha, Tanzania. Ms Minja started to bring her wealth of experience to the Foundation for African Empowerment since 2015 and to the Board of Directors since 2016.
