Provide Assistive Learning Devices and Sponsorship  

Identification of children with disabilities and defining their developmental and educational needs is a fundamental challenge in Tanzania. This challenge leads to inability of government and other stakeholders to provide appropriate teaching and learning technologies, and mobility equipment and other support to children with disabilities. Consequently, many children with disabilities are unable to access education or drop out of school at a very early age due to lack of appropriate support.      

In response to the challenges associated with identification and intervention for children with disabilities, FAE works with diverse partners for early identification of children with disabilities in order to provide them with the appropriate learning technologies and mobility devices and other requisite support to enable them access education and remain at school up to the completion date.

Child Sponsorship 

Sponsoring a child living with disabilities will help to ensure that the child access quality education. Your sponsored child will write to you and send pictures, and you’ll receive updates about how the child is doing.
